Shanti Funeral Services believe in being open and transparent and have listed a range of package plans with prices on our website including the cost of a direct to crematorium funeral and the cost of a simple funeral. For a more personalised service, adding additional services onto set priced plans can be arranged and all fees will be discussed prior to providing the additional services. For a truly personalised service, Shanti Funeral Services also offer bespoke funerals which can be arranged by working together with one of our funeral arrangers to design a unique funeral which caters to your specific wishes and requirements. More and more people are wishing to plan for a funeral well in advance of that need. Shanti Funeral Services can facilitate Pre-Paid Funeral Plans through the Golden Charter Trust funeral planning schemes. With a funeral plan, you choose the funeral you want and pay for it at today’s prices, relieving your family of any worries and uncertainty at what will inevitably be a distressing time. Our plans provide an easy way for you to organise your funeral arrangements in advance, specify your wishes and take care of the costs – at today’s prices. We offer a range of flexible payment options, so your plan could cost less than £5 a week (based on a 50 year old taking out a Base Plan, paying by Low Cost Instalments with a £0 deposit over 30 years). The Department For Work and Pensions can offer help towards the cost of the funeral through the social fund. The Social Fund is a Government scheme to help people on a low income with emergency expenses.
